Why We Built Boogadee
Like many parents in BC, we discovered how challenging it can be to find childcare. When we found out we were expecting, we started reaching out to daycares right away — but the waitlists were long, responses were slow, and every centre had its own process.
It wasn't until a month before my wife returned to work that we finally found a spot. We were lucky — many families we knew weren't.
That experience inspired us to build Boogadee — a platform designed to make finding and managing childcare simpler for families, and to help providers focus more on care, not paperwork.
